Williams Sod Farm has been locally owned and operated for over 25 years by Warren and Linda Williams.

As New Bern natives, Warren and Linda Williams have been laying sod, landscaping, servicing lawns and helping the residents of the New Bern area all of their lives. Caring for the community is a big part of Williams Sod Farm goals.

Taking care of the unique landscaping challenges in Eastern NC has been the specialty of Warren and Linda.

While building costs have gone up, sod prices have come down. in most areas sod can be bought and laid down like carpet, thus producing an instant lawn.

Williams Sod Farm harvests the sod 2 ways. #1 is by slabs. Three of these slabs equal a square yard. The thickness runs 1" to 1^1/2", of which 1/2" is soil and the remainder is grass. 50 yards are put onto a pallet. Delivery is available for the do it yourselfers or installation is available. Schedule delivery only after you have done the ground preparation and you are ready to install.
